The Koch who came home
Acclaimed chef de cuisine (and MasterChef judge) Jesper Koch was born and raised in South Jutland. He cannot recall ever not being passionate about or interested in food. Because good produce, ingredients, the craft of cookery and its traditions have always been part of his everyday life.

In the months of autumn, we are busy picking nuts, fruits and berries that enable us to bring sun-ripened autumnal flavours into the kitchen before the days soon become colder and darker.
At Syttende, the produce and ingredients are the driving force behind everything we do. Although we obtain our carefully selected ingredients from all over the world, Syttende’s location in the heart of South Jutland is undeniable of course.
