Iver and Charlotte’s asparagus and tomatoes

The vegetable garden “Daabeck Frilandsgartneri” is situated on the South Jutland ‘mainland’, roughly 15 km from Syttende. In other words, this genuine family business is almost visible from Alsik. Daabeck Frilandsgartneri is run by farmer Iver Daabeck and his daughter Charlotte, who is on her way to becoming a qualified farmer.

The two expert farmers’ passion for and thorough knowledge of their produce, together with the rich, clayey mainland topsoil, reveal the underlying secrets of their fantastic vegetables. We are particularly fond of Daabeck’s green asparagus and juicy tomatoes, and we often indulge in savouring their delicious hand-picked blueberries and maize. So choosing Daabeck Frilandsgartneri to be one of Syttende’s regular suppliers of vegetables in a class all their own was easy.

Syttende is temporarily closed

Dear friends and guests,

In this difficult time, we must take good care of each other. Therefore, at Syttende we are, of course, following the authorities regulations and recommendations. This means that up to and including January 17th we are completely closed. All bookings in this period is unfortunately cancelled.

Steigenberger Alsik, where we are located, will also close down in the same period. We will post regular updates of any changes to the above. Meanwhile, we hope that everyone will take good care of themselves and each other until we meet again and Syttende once again can open it’s doors.
